Google Maps navigation and Music players (after lollipop).

Is anyone else noticing that while listening to music with music apps, and you run Google Maps navigation that the voice navigation no longer pauses the music while it announces the turn, instead it speaks over the music, which in that case you can't hear neither the music nor the navigation clearly. Before lollipop the music will pause briefly while the navigation is talking and resume after.

this happens with any downloaded music apps. Is there a fix for this? or a setting that I'm missing?

btw: I am on the Sprint N4 (ver. 5.0.1)

One thing you could try is setting the voice level in Navigation to "Louder"

I have that set as such already, the issue is that the music and the navigation are at the same volume, so neither can be heard clearly. I guess that is the way it is going to be until Google fixes the issue.
