google maps un-disabled after reboot

i dont need maps much so i disable it but it enables itself after reboot. any way (without root) to prevent this?

Honestly you might have to root and uninstall it. I'm rooted and froze Google Books and Play Movies, yet they keep showing back up after reboots.
