Google Maps Update

Google Maps got another update today Aug 29. Does anyone know if this fixed the reboot issue or has nothing changed?

I just tried it and spent a few mins in the app and haven't seen the rebooting issue just yet. Also, when it downloaded, it seemed like the full 8.4mb downloaded. For some reason, last time I remember it just only downloading far less – but I could just be imagining this last bit.

Just backing up 6.9.0 first haha. I will seriously need a functioning Maps in the coming months so I can't risk permanently breaking it.

I am had to reboot my phone to have the latest update show. So far no crashing!! Right On! Looks like Maps is back. Thank you for the info!

Seems to be decent. I'm not getting a GPS signal here in my office, but it's got directions and a general idea of my location through cell service. No reboots as of yet with the newest version of maps.

Installed 6.11.1 to update from base 6.3 version, and restarted my Rezound. WIth 6.10.0, I would unexpectedly reboot within minutes of entering Maps, without doing anything. With 6.11.1, I searched for some sites, got directions - so far, no problems.

Same, everything looks good here... Will definitely use the Navigation tonight and report back if any issues.

On another note, when using 6.9.2 I noticed my phone got VERY warm well using Navigation, but when I used Waze for Navigation it didn't get warm at all... Very interested to see the comparison on this version.

I am had the issue, updated and did the same things that would reboot it. Works fine now.

Just downloaded today's update and it seems to be working... Thrilled they fixed it so quickly!

Used it for traffic on the way home and no reboots. The only weird thing is it's listing my phone as an HTC vigor in settings.

That was the original name for the phone, before they thought Rezound was a good idea.
