Google Maps is updated to version 4.2 and is available for download at Market.

I can't seem to figure out what they mean by "Navigation" added to app launcher. Is that supposed to be a button we can tap in the All Apps menu to launch directly into navigation? If so, I'm not seeing it...

You can add a "shortcut" to navigate to a specific location. Not sure if that is "new" or not.

There is a Navigation icon (blue triangle) in the application drawer now.
