Google Messages Notification Sound

Is this just me, or has the option to set/change the notification sound disappeared? I can't find it anywhere in system sound settings or messages settings. Google search didn't help me either.

Try long press the Google message icon ten tap info>scroll to notifications and tap > tap notifications catagory >all notifications or new notifications tap and change the sound

If you hadn't mentioned something, I wouldn't have noticed this. My notifications sound setting is no longer there either.

Let me check on my pixel ,i have the Google/Samsung collaboration on Google app .

Hyper, you're looking at the general settings from the messages app. Mustang's screen shot is what happens after you long press the messages icon then tap the app info button.
