Does anyone know what is going on with RCS and google messages? Google messages is a trash app no doubt, but ever since I'd gotten my s25+ 8 months ago RCS has mostly worked. Now for the past several weeks it has gone out with no changes and I haven't managed to get it back. Just sits there on connecting and dont' have access to any rcs features. Does anyone know what is going on, or if it's just me? Is it my Canadian carrier Bell? Is it samsung, google? RCS itself? Anyone have same issue or any idea why? I've googled many times and dont' see any current widespread postings of it being "down" but I have no idea why mine specifically would stop working then. Everything is up to date and no changes made.
I f*** hate google so It makes it easy to switch to a random SMS app if RCS is dead. I thought it was the future of texting and the most wonderful thing in the world, even apple took it on and it barely works there either when it does.

Thanks for any help or insight. Or even post if you are or aren't' having RCS issues.

Could be an update to the app possible a glitch or something with your network (carrier)

Try couple things
1. Clear Google messages data then force stop it. It should repopulate your messages if auto back up are on for Google and Samsung but like anything else back up just in case.

2.go to settings>connections>Mobil Network>APN> upper right corner tap reset to default

This worked. Thanks!!!! I'd cleared cache and data with no luck but the apn seemed to make the difference I guess. I've never seen that instruction before. Says I am connected anyway. I'll report back if it goes wonky again. Thanks again!
