Google music manager

I'm running Win 7 64 bit. I found the process when I attempt to install it and I know it's not being blocked by my firewall, I don't use the Windows firewall, and I'm using Security Essentials so I know that's not blocking it. I'm a little glad I'm not the only person with this issue but I just wish we could get it to work.

EDIT: I tried running it again, it runs and now goes to a "Connecting to the Internet" dialogue box, then goes to the same server side error dialogue box after a few seconds. Very weird. I tried it after disabling my ZoneAlarm and same results.

I am emailing them as well.

SOLUTION!!!!

I normally use Chrome as my browser. I just made IE my default browser, and went to download the MM exe. IE asked me if I wanted to run it, I said yes and it installed MM!!!

So, at least for me, this seems related to Chrome which is a little strange, considering it's Google's browser. But give it a try and see if changing to IE (at least for the install) works for you!

Interesting oh one more thing I'm using Google chrome web browser it shouldn't be a key factor butbyou never know and they 2 icons in your system Trey not sure but ever since they did the rebranding there's been issues mine is still labeled Google music I'll see if I can post it and may be that will help sounds like Google needs to defrag their server

Thank you for this info. I'm currently out of town on my tablet but I will try this when I get back home. Those goons in google support emailed me troubleshooting steps for uploading and downloading music......

Unrelated but I use Google apps for business and my gmail account placed an email from Google in the spam folder.

It appears, from other things I've read, Google has realized they had a problem and fixed it. So you may not have to do what I did now.

Hmm well I hope it works out for you now let me see if I can get this to a public drop box
