Google Music Player Very Laggy On Startup

Having a great time with my S3. Really love this phone. But I have a problem with the Google Music Player which is very laggy on starting. It doesn't let me scroll thru the songs or playlists until it finishes loading which can take up to 30 seconds or more. Afterwards it runs fine. Neither the stock player nor the Amazon player have this problem. Any ideas?

I haven't seen anything like that. Mind you, I only have about 140 albums loaded, so if you have your whole music collection there I suppose it could take awhile to load all of that information.
In the Settings, do you have "Automatically cache" enabled?

Yes, automatically cache is checked. I have about 8 gigs of music on the phone. Weird part is that the other players operate just fine. Only Google Music has this lag issue.
