Google music widget is terrible. Alternatives?

Ok, I'm finding the Google music widget is really bad. The album view rather useless. Why can't I scroll through the list of albums for example I.e. greader pro scrollable widget? What's the point of it?

So then I add the play music widget. But when I hit the next track button it cycles only through 8 songs, then comes back around. Kinda useless for me.

I really wish poweramp would support Google music already. It seems to have all I want in a music player. Great EQ controls including balance (something ALL player apps should have BTW) etc. I'm using Google music since its free and I can stream my collection anywhere. But I really don't like the player app and hate the widgets. Are there any good widgets that work with Google music?

I don't have a nexus 7 (yet) but I really dislike the play music app as a whole. It feels out of place compared to most google apps which have a minimalistic design. I personally use the stock gingerbread/froyo music app because it is way less draining on the device battery. Only problem with that is that it can't sync from google music...

Not a fan of the Play music app either--it seems pretty rudimentary. I don't know if mines just glitchy or if this is normal, but even if I go to a specific album and press repeat, it cycles through all the songs on my library. Same thing with shuffle--can't seem to isolate it to a specific artist, specific album, etc.
