When I buy a song and select keep on device where is the music stored to? Because it's not coming up in my stock music app? Thanks

I think pinned music isn't accessible except for the Google Music app. I believe you can download it to your PC and move it into your normal storage place where you keep your music.. But I don't think you can get it out of this app.

I would assume it is because people could pin music from the streaming service then rip it out and keep it.

This is correct but one would argue, if I could download my music to my computer then I could still use the mp3 file how I like. Not the streaming music but the music I paid for. It's absolutely dumb that I can download the file to my computer but not to my device. If they were worried about piracy then they wouldn't let you download it anywhere.

Yeah that's my biggest gripe with Google Music. I do think it's a very good service but only able to play in the google music app is silly especially when I can download it on my computer and do what I want with the file so not really sure what they are protecting when they still let me obtain the file one way or another. Just have to jump through extra hoops to play it in a better music app.

Oh I never said it was a good idea... Just explaining why it is like that. I am sure one day they will fix it.
