Google Navigate Speech to fast

Has anyone ever experienced any speech problems with Google navigate? I used it today and noticed the SPEED of the speech was soo fast. When it first came out it was perfect but now it seems that the when it's giving me directions somewhere its on turbo and reads the text REALLY FAST.

Anyone know how to fix that? I'm a little hesitant to remove the upgrade and install it again and have it not work. I rely on that many times a day.

Hit Menu while on Home Screen and then Settings, then go to Voice input and Output, Next press Text to Speech Settings..Then Click Speech Rate and change it to Normal.

Im assuming you're on Froyo, otherwise the setting names might be different.

I heard you can go to the market and get different voices... Is that true?? If so what are the apps in the market called?? thanks!!
