Google Nexus 5 - Surprise shipping news

I had a black 32GB Nexus 5 on order with an estimated date of dispatch from the "warehouse" of 11th December. I had assumed that the warehouse was in Ireland.

10 minutes ago I received an email from Google Play to say that it had just shipped via UPS from Eindhoven (Holland) and that I could expect delivery on Wednesday 4th!

By the way, I live in France

Yeah, great news! But as I say, entirely unexpected. Hopefully there will be many others getting similar unexpected messages.

I got an unexpected message. My Nexus 5 shipped and then stayed in the same city for 5 days.
