Google Nexus 5 - Youtube app -skipping frames / microlag

Hi, I just got the new Nexus 5 and everything is great except one thing, videos (any video) in the youtube app seems to be lagging (micro lag, barely noticeable but extremely annoying). This does not happen in any other app or videos I play, only in the youtube app. Playing youtube videos in chrome is also fine. How can I fix this? I tried to reinstall the updates to the app, also reboot the phone but its still the same. I also have a Nexus 7 where I don't have this problem. Would like some advice : )

EDIT: noticed that netflix also lags a little. Edit: And I'm not talking about buffering.

Hi! It seems to be a Kit Kat problem because it also happens in my Moto X since I updated to the new Android. Jelly Beam is so much better than Kit Kat...
