Google Nexus 6 on T-Mobile

Just placed an order on tmobile site said it would ship in 5 days. 64gb blue.

Hopefully it does. Their site indicates an estimated shipping delay of 5 days for both the 32 and 64gb models, which I usually read as "we hope they're back in stock soon." I spoke with a customer care rep (those bastions of informational accuracy) who checked and indicated the latest internal communication they'd received as of this morning was that there was not a current ETA on when more devices would become available.

Where on their site does it say this?

I finally did it! Ordered the 64gb through Tmobile today and cancelled my VZW (will be cancelled)...I've settled with the N6, just hope they ship it within the next week or its going to be an even longer waiting game for me.

I hope you good luck with t-mobile. I hated my experience with them and will never go back . Fool me once shame on you ....fool me twice shame on me. Left them in 2010 for poor customer service and the same this 2nd time . The nexus 6 made me somewhat think should I stay at t-mobile lol

I was with Tmo for 10 years, switched to VZW a little over two years ago. I thought VZW customer service was poor (compared to Tmo). Tmo plans are so much cheaper and cell service may not be as great but I live in a big metro city so it doesn't affect me as much as others. I simply can't stand VZW with their delayed updates anymore so it made sense to go back to Tmo.

They have hands down the best plans and customer service. Not sure what happened to you, but it was clearly an anomaly.

T-Mobile isn't even remotely the same company they were back in 2010.... The $3 billion in cash and $1 billion in spectrum they got in 2011 from the failed AT&T buy out really made a difference... They are still lacking in some rural areas and the in between spots along the highway but most moderate to heavily populated cities they are pretty strong across the board... They've invested a lot in the network and have made major gains... I tried them out back with the Nexus One and after two months went back to Sprint.... I had the same gut feeling with the Nexus 5 that they would be worth a dang but tried them out and glad I did.... continues to get better... Sprint made a lot of noise and promises but their network just never made the leaps T-Mobile did in a way shorter time frame...

Long story short If I had an issue I would have to call 5 times for it to be fixed or solved. They also say they will do something and never do it or do it but taking a while . I asked for a label to return a signal booster but first time never got it.

Yeah I left them in 2010 because of horrible customer service . I had phone insurance and the phone screen died out of the 1 year warranty and the replacement was also defective and that took me about 3-4 hours to get done. Now I've left because I need to call them so many times to get something done . There plans are good but service is horrible where I live and I'm in Brooklyn. 2-4 bars in my house with any other carrier and none 3 feet beyond my window. I've tried to use wifi calling but whenever I used it people complained it wasn't clear and breaking up. I do have a 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload

Hopefully the cell service has improved since I left in 2011. I've never had any major customer service issues with Tmo but with VZW it's night and day compared to Tmo. I just hope I get the phone sooner than later, I received no update/confirmation as to when the phone will be in stock or when the expected ship date is. That is a little nerve wrecking but I'm just happy I was finally able to order a 64gb model!

I've been with T-Mobile almost a year now.. I've never had to call or talk to them once so I have no clue what their customer service is like... I've also never had insurance on a phone before or needed to make a warranty claim (Knock on wood).....

In Dallas their overall saturation and coverage is amazing... 10 times more reliable than Sprint.. Not as strong and fast as AT&T and Verizon but for the money they are about as good as you can get.... We use Verizon for our corporate phones and my best friend uses AT&T.... in all the places we go AT&T is the best in Dallas... My buddy will usually get 20 - 30 Mbps while I get 15 - 20.... With Sprint I was getting 1 - 5 with LTE if I had LTE.... But he pays $80 - 90 a month and I pay $33 a month.... He's got a data cap and I don't....

But at the end of the day you have to get what works best in your area.... Back home in North Carolina Sprint was very strong where I lived and always is when I go back home... but in Texas and Tennessee (The two places I've lived since leaving NC) Sprint is pretty bad... T-Mobile was bad in Nashville but great in Dallas..... and they keep improving but they are probably a decade or more away from even being remotely close to what Verizon or even AT&T are.... (Nationwide Coverage wise)

I honestly only have insurance to cover lost and theft really. I was actually quite unlucky the screen just died one day and I had a sidekick LX and went to turn it on and never turned on. I've have horrible customer service with them and never would suggest it to anybody but if you have a good experience then that's great for you.. Wished I got it lol. Was a t-mobile customer between 2004-2010 and then again since March 2014

I can say I've just been lucky for the most part.. I never had a defective device or needed to file a warranty claim... I've dropped my fair share of phones over the years and each time it's happened I've been lucky as heck and didn't break anything... Heck the first night with my Nexus 6 I freaking dropped it on my kitchen tile floor.. but as luck would have it I dropped it and it hit my knee and landed on the back (with a case on) and at such an angle from clipping my knee that it mostly slid across the floor and wasn't a directly straight down drop and impact... But my heart did skip a beat..... or two.....

Carriers are no different than devices... Each one is different for each person.... You have to go with what works best for you and what you are happy with best.... As bad as Sprint was I have no ill will towards them.. They had their good spots..... and they are strong for some customers...

I wanted the Nexus 6 on T mobile. Went to the store. Didn't have one. Acted clueless as to when they may get some in stock. I went to Sprint, and they had one in stock. Canceled one of my two lines on T mobile. Got $350 for my LG G3, so bought the phone outright with the $60 unlimited data plan. Downgraded the old lady to the $50 a month plan on T mobile. Less than I was paying before on T mobile for two lines. So far so good. No issues with T Mobile other than the phone not being in stock.

Has anyone who ordered on the 19th and there order is backorder got any info?
