Google Nexus 6 on T-Mobile

Re: Disappointed with US carriers other than T-Mobile only stocking the 32GB Nexus 6

It depends on what you can live with and your storage needs. If you have enough data and don't take long plane flights, you can stream music through Google play and save space.
If you need on board memory then the Nexus through the carrier is not the route. Unless you use USB OTG

I'm curious if anybody can recall a more strange rollout of a device? Originally I had thought that with the Nexus 6, Google was having a tighter control over things and yet here we are with carriers seemingly choosing what color and storage consumers should purchase.

Really strange for a company to be turning away so many people willing to throw $700+ dollars at them......... Carrier roll out outside of T-Mobile had been almost silent until today... At least AT&T and Sprint now have dates.... You'd of thought Google or Motorola would have taken as many preorders as they could get..... Not just minimal orders based off what I can only assume is a limited amount of inventory that was built..... Why not take preorders and fill them as you go.....

Demand for it is sky high. You could sell it and use the money to buy the 64gb version.

Re: Disappointed with US carriers other than T-Mobile only stocking the 32GB Nexus 6

I am on AT&T and had originally planned to purchase the OnePlus One but by the time I got my first invite my interest had shifted to the Note 4. Once the Nexus 6 was announced my interest shifted to it due to having to wait for my upgrade in December. I really wanted the 64GB option as I use a lot of memory (32GB+) on my device. I am now not sure what to do given AT&T is seemingly only going to offer the 32GB Nexus 6. What are your thoughts fellow Android enthusiasts?

If the upfront cost is a hard pill to swallow, get Moto Credit and purchase the phone that way. You could then space the payments out over up to 18 months with 0% interest on it.

Forget T-Mobile till next week. They just tweeted this:

T-Mobile @TMobile
To give @TMobile customers the best experience possible, we're moving our #Nexus6 launch out one week to 11/19.

Re: T-mobile launch pushed out a week

Either someone is incompetent at google in the logistics department, or they are having production issues/glitches that have been kept under raps extremely well.

Motorola told me my preorder was shipping directly from China..... I can't figure out what has gone wrong.... completely horrible planning by Google/Motorola on demand? Production issues? Software issues? Hardware problems?

Re: T-mobile launch pushed out a week

Lets hope we see them stateside before Christmas. lol

Re: T-mobile launch pushed out a week

I think a lot of the delay is the production of display models and preparing for the stores on day one they release it. 1800 demo devices being sent to T-mobile stores, on top of whatever stock they send to sell, multiply that by 5-6 carriers and that takes a lot of initial stock.

Re: T-mobile launch pushed out a week

This is becoming the most bizarre Nexus launch ever...

Re: T-mobile launch pushed out a week

I have a feeling no ones phone is going to ship this week now. the estimated ship dates are probably spot on...

Re: T-mobile launch pushed out a week

Don't mind me, I'll just be over here banging my head against the Great Wall of Ineptitude...
