Apple can launch iPhone worldwide, online and in store, have it available on every carrier, and it works without a hitch. So does every other manufacturer.

Google is a multi billion dollar [FONT=Roboto, Arial, sans-serif]corporation. The way they are going about this is absolutely pathetic. They and Motorola know exactly what their manufacturing capability is, how many units have been ordered by carriers, how much projected demand is etc. This is all basic tuff other companies have figured out, and Google can't for the 4th year in a row.

Google needs to accept pre-orders, give out accurate shipping times, and adjust their inventory and manufacturing accordingly. Stop playing games and stop making your loyal customers play the refresh lottery every week. This is an absolute joke.[/FONT]

I'll give them some credit, IT'S COMMUNICATING! Unlike last week were it was more like gfy....

Here's my problem, I ordered a Blue 32GB, I really want the 64GB. Do I try to order both and if successful, hopefully get it in time to cancel the 32GB?

I don't understand why preorder the phone from Google is so difficult...I don't want to compare to apple..but preorder the product from Apple is way more easily..u know exactly when and where u can get the phone..

I'll of course try to get one tomorrow, but I'm expecting a similar scenario as last week. I don't expect I'll actually score a preorder until next week's batch at the earliest, more likely the week after that.

As a fellow Verizon user, the video from Droid Life has eased my mind on whether or not it's "safe" to buy a Nexus 6 from the Play Store. If the one they had worked with a Verizon SIM card, there's no reason one bought from the Play Store shouldn't.

I think the thing on the Nexus 6 page is just talking about being able to actually buy the phone through carriers. For whatever reason, it appears Verizon might not be interested in selling the phone right now, but it still works on their network, so it's all good, either way.
