So much for it being "too big" and "too expensive" and nobody would buy it. With shipping time 3-4 weeks. ill just wait until it is in carrier stores and pick one up.

I wonder if Google did this on purpose so that more people would go to the carriers to buy... Just a thought, and yes I have had no sleep since yesterday...

has anyone called Google Play Store and asked WTF is going on?

I did, but seeing as how the sales are only via web and not by phone, they're pretty much as clueless as we are (or at least are being coached to appear so). The rep I spoke with said that she thought they might be releasing it in blocks, and was startled when I told her that people were indicating it appearing as available only for fractions of a second at a time.

When will we see Nexus 6 reviews and carrier dates?

This launch has become a total joke. Still no reviews, still no dates announced except for TMobile. And a total fiasco on the Play store. Google reps saying they have no idea, no clue about availability.

I want to wait til it's available from Motorola so I can use the 0% interest credit. I think I can manage with the Moto X for another month.

Seems to me that by definition pre-order would mean severely limited quantities, otherwise it would just be order. Ky guess is they stopped pre-ordering at the amount they could produce in a reasonable amount of time given they'll have to provide for other channels as well.

What makes you all think that the pre-order is even open? We didn't know the time of day. A few getting it "by accident" does not mean it's officially open. I would think they would update their Twitter.

apparently the rumour is that the google nexus 6 has been discontinued as motorola only made 3 of them. Google will re launch sometime in 2015

Well i tried to do the googleplay thing and to no surprise.... Epic fail. Off to T-Mobile I go.

I guess I will be buying it from Motorola. This was my 1st attempt to buy a Nexus device on day 1 from Google and very poor to say the least....

I've officially given up..... This is total Bull $**t...

Wait until tomorrow, or next week. You won't get it for a couple weeks even if you get the order in now.

Not really the point... The point is they told us October 29.. and a lot of us have been watching the page closely all day.. I was hitting refresh every 10 - 20 minutes from 6 am when I got to work until noon.... After lunch I started hitting refresh every few seconds... and it went from "Coming Soon" to SOLD OUT.... in a matter of seconds.... I've also gotten the "Add to cart" button 5 different times and twice got the proceed to check out button only for each time it to go to "Sorry nothing in your cart"

With not a peep out of Google.....
