Interesting. My Nexus 6 order from Motorola was fully charged to my card, despite me having an estimated ship date of Dec. 9 and no notification or anything. Don't they only charge when they're ready to ship? Could it possibly come sooner? I sure hope so.

Motorola told me they charge at time of purchase regardless if they have stock or when it's going to ship..... Google Play charges at time of Shipment (Usually) but do a preauthorization at time of purchase...

I have been told over the past couple of days I would see a tracking number by the end of that day, it would ship from Texas, China, has been exported, and will get delivered on the 19th. While I completely trust what Guadalupe, Francisco, Shien, and the rest have told me, I guess I just have had bad luck and either my package fell off the turnip truck on its way to the air facility or it is being undressed and poked and prodded in customs... I wonder what stories my phone will have for me about it's trip to get to me

Chat told me it would definitely ship out of Texas yesterday.

yeah I seem to get a different answer each time I chat with them..... and I don't even know why I am chatting with them other than to be amused and justify them having a job.... Answers are all over the map and they are just looking at a screen.... Still claiming I'll have it in my hand by Wednesday coming from China.... Takes almost a full day just to make the flight from China back to the US... if it ships tomorrow (Which would be Monday in China) it might make it in to Memphis, TN some time late Monday night here so it's still possible.... I've been inside that facility in Memphis for FedEx... WOW!!! The amount of packages they can move in a single night.... and how quickly they turn them from unloading them off the airplane to getting them pushed back out to the outbound aircraft is an impressive feat to say the least.... but coming from China and arriving in a couple of days?????

Not holding my breath anymore... already caused me one concussion today....

I personally hope it does come to the hub in Memphis since I live in Mississippi. That SHOULD cut down on the travel time. But it seems like Google/Motorola really wants these phones to get into peoples hands no earlier than the 19th. Maybe for software reasons, maybe it is supply.

Not really an update on my device shipping, but today my screen protectors came for my device! Ive bought from this guy on ebay for years, he is top notch, cheap, good quality, and durable.

I ordered them and they shipped on the same day. Delivery expected by the 22nd. Great price. I wanted a protector until the reviews on the tempered glass ones come in.

Well I think my Nexus 6 will make a Wednesday delivery. As of an hour or so ago it left Anchorage, Alaska. So it's out of Asia already.

Good luck to all you guys who ordered from Moto. I ordered from the play store, so i'll be lucky if it ships by the 21st. I don't get how crappy this years nexus release went. Last year I got the N5 days after I ordered it. I also noticed no leaks of warehouse shipments. It seems like last year there were at least some leaks of warehouses with pallets of the phones stacked up. Maybe they really misjudged the demand, or this was the most rushed phone in nexus history,

Yeah my nexus 5 shipped October 31... Same day it was released! As for this year! They all seem to be shipping from China meaning they probably just started production the first of November! It didn't clear the FCC until October 24.... Last year the 5 cleared September 5........ I can't imagine they start mass production orders until FCC certification...

Yea, I have the 21st in Playstore too and really was HOPING with the 2nd pre-auth last Thurs evening, this would've been updated and maybe shipped last Friday. But to no avail, still says 11/21 Sucks ordering first with Playstore and now Moto orders will be actually delivering this Wed the 19th. LMAO. Yup, Google sure screwed this preorder process up big time.
I really hope by EOD Monday it changes to shipped.....

Google didn't screw up anything, they said the 21st and last time I checked it's the 16th.

I was told by more than one Google rep that shipping starts Monday. Let's wait and see..

By the time I got to the moto site the shipping wasn't until 12/3. I had already got my Play store order in. At least the 21st that far away now.

Wow that is fast! Glad you will be getting it soon! I'm just hoping there is fast stock replenishment so they can get those 12/2 orders out fast!
