We should. I got a text that my order was finished processing. Would be updated once it shipped but my status hasn't changed on the order status page. Was hoping it had shipped already.

Pretty funny, I did see another pre-auth charge yesterday from Google for the full amount but it dropped off again today. I wonder what sets that off since clearly they aren't shipping yet.

I just hope they ship a few days before the 11/21 date. It would be nice to have this phone in hand by the end of the next week.

Pretty funny, I did see another pre-auth charge yesterday from Google for the full amount but it dropped off again today. I wonder what sets that off since clearly they aren't shipping yet.

I just hope they ship a few days before the 11/21 date. It would be nice to have this phone in hand by the end of the next week.

Maybe it's a Google system thing just keep a tab on your available credit? Preauthorizations usually drop off after 5 - 10 days and you could in theory go run up your card and not have enough... Maybe their computer is just checking in with your credit card???

Well today we will know if the alleged 11/13 ship date for Motorola orders happens or not. I hope both Motorola and Google Play orders ship today. Can't wait for this phone.

Yeah that seems plausible. I imagine with such a long pre-order period, they'd probably want to make sure payment choices are still valid.

I ordered from Motorola and my card was already charged a few days ago, even though my phone isn't supposed to be delivered until 11/26. I asked Motorola about it and they said the card is always charged when the order is made. This seems to go against my prior experience with them. I'm not sure what to think right now, but I am secretly hoping the phone will ship soon.

If you ordered from Motorola, sign up for a FEDEX account and when Motorola ships the site is updated with a tracking number. To avoid having the package left at the door, I will change on the FEDEX site to ship to the FEDEX/Kinkos that is on the way home from work. You can get texts to alert you of any updates but I never received one when I ordered the 1st GEN Moto X.

Yup.. I always update my shipment to "hold for pick up" I work at the airport and the FedEx terminal is right around the corner.... Once you've flagged it for hold for pick up you can usually go first thing in the morning when they open and pick it up without much of a hassle and some times like in the case of FedEx two day shipping it will make it to the terminal on day one and you can pick it up a day early..... (This just depends on when it makes it in to the terminal and when they get it moved to the hold for pick up area.. but usually they get it done and it's just sitting there anyway)

My Nexus 5 last year was delivered 3 days before it was even supposed to leave the warehouse. May see some activity next week, who knows. I'm just happy i got an order in haha thank the lord for page monitor chrome extensions
