I agree. I'm simply asking for transparency. For example: I received a shipping notification at 1 this morning, 24 hours after the device had actually shipped. When I spoke to Google yesterday (after the device was already in the possession of UPS) why did the agent tell me the device is still scheduled to ship? I try to keep it in perspective - it is just a toy, after all.

Ordered 11/5, shipped early this AM and out for delivery here as well. UPS requiring signature on these? Site doesn't say so; though now that I think about it, N5 didn't either.
Quick N5 shipping story... I was concerned someone may take the phone last year as I live in a rural area with a long driveway, but a very visible mail box where it is on the street. My coworker thought I was paranoid about someone taking it. UPS guy kept putting stuff in (I believe illegal?) or on the mailbox, and then saying he left it at the garage. Week after I got my N5 (again from inside the mailbox), someone stole my mail and packages UPS left on the mailbox this time (caught them on camera). Coworker finally relented that I wasn't being too paranoid
I called UPS pissed, the local hub called me and said the driver insisted he drove up my driveway, until I told him he was welcome to see the camera footage I had just shown the police. Fortunately not a problem after that with deliveries now coming to the house AND they caught the kids stealing the stuff as well.

This is awesome that it looks like a lot of people will be getting theirs today. Mine left Memphis at 4:23am and is still in transit. I assume by truck. I doubt I will be getting it today.

I should be getting mine today by end of day. 2 weird things though, my CC isn't charged yet and it's 2 packages with 2 distinct tracking numbers. Both are out for delivery though.

That would be awesome if you got two and only paid for one. You could do a giveaway to some person on here who has not be lucky enough to even order one yet. Or just sell it on ebay and make mad bank...lol

Mine hit DFW airport at 5:40 in the morning and at 7:20 am it is at the Irving destination facility (Which is where I would go pick it up if they would have let me flag it for pick up) keeping an eye on it to see if it goes out for delivery... Once it does I am headed to the house for a couple hours to wait around on it...
and I had a feeling from Memphis down to Mississippi it was going to hit a truck not a flight.. if they flew it you should see it at your local facility by now.. I've seen some people saying their delivery changed to later in the afternoon instead of by 10:30 am so maybe you'll get a late delivery today???

Man, I am so jealous of you guys. Getting your grubby hands on this little chunk of metal/plastic/glass thingy.
Mine ships on the second of dec roughly 23 @#$% days from now. That's only when its supposed to ship let alone the extra day or two for the thing to actually get here.
I am a pretty old guy but this waiting on a freakin phone makes me feel like a immature whiney little 4 yr old. It sux.

I called them on the phone this morning while it was still showing at the DFW airport and she said that it was technically hazardous because of the battery and they don't allow hold for pick up on Hazardous materials....
Bummer.....

They are not really selling for as much as you'd think.... Most of the outrageous ones on Ebay have no bids on them and if you check out Swappa people are starting out asking a lot and eventually settling for maybe $50 - 75 more than what they paid for it (Not worth all the work unless you just got one free)
