Google Nexus 6 What's going on??

I've been testing my Nexus 5vs6 and the 5 is destroying the 6!?
Quadrant test the 5 had 12588 vs the 6 with only 4500. Apps open faster also on the 5 vs the 6.
Is this a software or hardware issue?

Please don't say I'm trolling because I've owned every nexus phone and tablet since the nexus 4.

I believe it has something to do with the device being encrypted by default. On the N5 you could at least turn encryption off.

Its small things that are wrong, for example when playing music that's either downloaded or streaming and I rotate the phone, the music cuts off for a sec before the phone rotates.

I hate to be the complainer but I'm just trying to figure out if this is my device only.

I believe it has something to do with the device being encrypted by default. On the N5 you could at least turn encryption off.

Looks like you can turn off the encryption via XDA now, although the process is a little finicky at the moment

i just tried that, and it didn't do that until i fully rotated it 360 degrees. if it's just the side and back to portrait it didn't pause the music at all. the speakers are quite loud though.

I have two Nexus 6 32 GB Midnight Blue. Since you're using the Quadrant standard I downloaded the app.
Heres what I got 13925 on mine

How?? My test is taking a while to even get started. It's to the point where the Nexus 5 had already started the animation tests.

They both are running pretty smoothly. Google Play Store bought. I instantly updated to latest OS when I got them.

Just got a software update that took care of all the issues that I had last night. Quadrant test is now 13800!!

Yeah I was prepared to update it day one because I think I read somewhere the phones going out to reviewers were getting an over the air update ~200 mb to bring it up to launch day OS.
