Well I hope none of these cases they have on amazon are any indication of when the phone comes out. They're all dates from Nov 15 to the 29th. Wish Google would just announce these things already.

I'm torn between that one - on which I like the stand feature - and the Perfect Fit, which is basically the new version of the Spigen I have on my Nexus 5.


The first I like for the stand feature, color, and extra shock absorption, the second for how very thin it is. Anyone have any experience with a Spigen case with that type of flip-out stand on another device that can attest to its durability?

Also, while it's difficult to see in the pictures, I'm guessing the first will add another millimeter or so more than the second - seems trivial, but let's be honest, the phone is already pretty wide... and every extra smidgen of width will be exponentially more noticeable. I'm glad neither uses 'overlay' buttons though, opting for a cutout instead. Overlaid buttons just don't feel right.

I have the Ultra Hybrid on my M8 now and I like it, so I was automatically gonna get that for the Nexus 6, but it seems this Ringke case gets better reviews in general when compared to the Ultra Hybrid, at least for the other phones. I'm also wondering about width but it seems with these types of cases they'll probably be fairly close to each other anyway.

I'm also looking at the Neo Hybrid, but in general that doesn't seem to get the greatest reviews.

I'd be hesitant to get a case with a 'clear' back to it. They're nice for showing the logo, etc, but a clear shell will show scratches much more than an opaque one. And with a rounded back, I'd expect it to be even more likely to get scratches along the central 'spine' area of contact.

don't know if I'll actually use it or not... depends on how the phone feels without.... big phone not sure I want to add any additional bulk..... but I figured I'd at least order a case and check it out... Not like it's a $50 otterbox.... In that case I would have waited until I actually had it before deciding... I liked the commuter case on my EVO and GS3....

I really would want that blue, but I dunno how that would look against the blue phone. I'm thinking gunmetal so there's some contrast (and basically the opposite of what I have now, which is the blue case against the gunmetal M8). I'm sure I'm wayyyy overthinking this.

I ended up ordering one of these so I at least have something to go with shortly after getting my N6.

But I'm really looking forward to seeing if Carved comes out with some cases - they did for the Nexus 5, and a rep I conversed with indicated they were planning on developing designs for the Nexus 6 as well (that would work with the curved back). Real woods like cedar, lacewood, cherry, purpleheart, ebony, ash, walnut, padauk, and more, and all made in the USA

I bought a wallet case for my Nexus 5 on Amazon by Cellto for about $7. I live in Chicago and having room to put my CTA card in my phone comes in handy. I preordered a wallet case made by Abacus24-7 for $9 which is similar albeit a different material but it will do.
