Google Nexus 6 Which wireless charger to get?

Re: Which wireless charger to get?

charging during the day is not necessary

Stinks but with the Nexus 5 if I wanted to use it for any extended period after I leave work making sure it's on the charger at least 2 hours before leaving work was mandatory... I really hope with the Nexus 6 and the adjustments made in Lollipop make charging at work just a pure luxury and not something mandatory to do.....

But because battery technology is better today than 5 or 10 years ago I'll probably keep it on the charger most of the day anyway... It spends 70% of it's day laying around on my desk anyway... why not make sure it's always at 100% charged when I do take it off????

Re: Which wireless charger to get?

I bought the wireless charger I posted above and the thin anker that someone else posted. They should be here tomorrow. If anyone is interested I can report back how they are.

Re: Which wireless charger to get?

I too started with the Pixi touchstone charger.
Been using the Samsung charging pads around the house because the wife's Note is precarious on a little puck.

The Tylt looks great, sorta like the old HP Touchpad stand
Gabbott, Black Friday is only a couple of weeks away! :)

For the car I wanted one of those Zens cups but couldn't justify the cost so I bought a plastic go cup and a cheap Qi puck from Amazon.
I have about $16 in it, including epoxy.
Works great on a phone like my S3, that is small enough to fit.

I decided to finally buy the anker one I had shown yesterday. I thought my phone might be here by today or tomorrow, but it's not looking likely. I don't have a qi wireless phone to use on it. So it'll just be sitting there with nothing to do :(

Re: Which wireless charger to get?

The TYLT looks great and I will eventually get one for my desk. I also picked up two cheaper ones from Amazon
Single coil RavPower model that looks good for travel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GN5U5N...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4047194
Three coil Choe model for my desk Amazon.com: CHOE Stadium Qi Wireless Charger 3-Coils Wide Charging Area Wireless Charging Pad for Nexus 6, Sony Xperia Z3V, Motorola Moto 360 Smart Watch, Nexus 5 /7(2013) / 4, Nokia Lumia 1020/ 920/928, MOTO Droid Maxx/Droid Mini, HTC Droid DNA, HTC

The Rav Power one was packaged quite well. The Choe one not so much. Still waiting on my N6 to arrive so I can actually test them.

Re: Which wireless charger to get?

I just bought this one a well. I also bought the TYLT desk charger. With the car charger, I'm hoping the coils line up correctly. I'm sure the phone will fit, but without having the Nexus 6 in hand you can't test it out. I hope they are correct, since it does say it's been upgraded for the Nexus 6.
