I am using the TYLT VU wireless charger... It works perfect with the Nexus 6.... sideways or upright it starts to charge within a second of setting it down.. No lining it up or anything.. It just charges... I did however notice something last night... The VU charger has a green light at the bottom of it and on my night stand I can see that little green light and I know my phone is charging... I woke up at like 2 in the morning and the little green light was NOT lit up.... I instantly thought... Crap it's not charging... So I pushed the power button while leaving it on the charger and it just said "Charged" I know with my Nexus 5 and my Nexus 7 it stayed green ALL NIGHT LONG as long as the phone was still on it...

I guess my question is does the Nexus 6 stop charging when it hits 100% charged while on a wireless charging pad? I am wondering if there is a way that the phone just has the ability to stop wireless charging when it hits 100% and does not start charging again until say it drops below 90% or whatever? I finally picked it up and set it back down on the VU multiple times this morning before leaving for work while it was reading 99% charged and the green light would never kick on and it would never actually start charging on the device...... Just wondering if anyone else has notice this while charging with a wireless charger????

Wife and I have been using one of these Energizer Dual Twin Seat Charge Qi Standard Wireless Charger Pad | eBay for the better part of two years now.

It works fine with the naked Nexus 6 and also with Nexus 4 / 5 when in a TPU case (like this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4069714 ). But, when I put the Nexus 6 in this case Amazon.com: Nexus 6 Case, Spigen Slim Armor Case for Google Nexus 6 - Retail Packaging - Metal Slate (SGP11237): Cell Phones & Accessories it doesn't work at all.

I read yesterday they actually pulled them because the camera hold cut out was a little too big... I can see what they are talking about.. With mine it's just slightly bigger than the actual camera lens and flash ring... but it's not really noticeable on the Midnight blue..... I can see where it might annoy some who are super picky about those sort of things... I got the case a couple of days before the phone.. Pulled the phone out of the box and straight into the case and thought it looked pretty darn nice in the case.. Didn't even consider the lens hole to be too big out the package and had to really look at it and then ask why they were doing a "Recall" on the case.... once it was explained that basically the mold they had didn't match up perfectly to the actual device I decided to just keep mine as is... Not going to return it or request a new one...

But the guy who owns or manages Diztronic said new cases would be out after Thanksgiving once the mold is corrected and new cases are cast... If by chance they just send me a replacement (Not sure if they actually want the "Bad" ones back) I'll swap it out but outside that it fits perfect everywhere else and I really like it....

Yeah check back after Thanksgiving if your interested and they should have the mold corrected and new ones in stock.... In their pictures they just show the camera cut out is pretty much perfectly sized to the lens/flash ring.. on mine there is a couple mm gap from the edge of the flash ring to the case.... If they didn't say anything about it I wouldn't even of notice it....

I like Diztronic cases. One thing I especially do not like about the Spigen case linked above is the buttons are so non-descript as to be practically invisible. My fingertips are quite sensitive, but even so, I struggle to find the power button by touch alone.

I like Diztronic cases. One thing I especially do not like about the Spigen case linked above is the buttons are so non-descript as to be practically invisible. My fingertips are quite sensitive, but even so, I struggle to find the power button by touch alone.

and just FYI I got an email today from Diztronic (I bought my case directly from them) and they said they are sending me a new one and I can just discard/throw away the so called defective one I have.... They probably have 90% mark up in these things even at just $9.99 each....

Works great with LG WCD-100 charger. Starts charging as soon as you sit it on the dock. That's with the Spigen Thin Fit Case.

Thanks to those providing information about charging with a case on. Now I have a dilemma: give up on the extra protection afforded by the Spigen Neo Hybrid or give up on the option to charge wirelessly. Because I won't be taking off the case every time I want to charge the phone.

So how much extra space is there around the camera on the "defective" case? Hopefully the fixed version doesn't do anything to block the mic hole on the flash ring.

It's noticeable when you KNOW that is why they discontinued them and sent out to have the mold redone... Out the box and on the device I thought it looked nice... Didn't even consider that camera opening to be too big... It's just slightly larger but when you LOOK at it the opening the gap is a little more around the bottom and to the right of the lens vs the top and left side.. but it's very hard to tell unless your looking at it up real hard and up close....
