Google Nexus 7 cover

Hi All,

I have recently purchased a cover for Nexus 7 which goes to sleep when I flip back the cover. Although activation of sleep mode is a good feature but it really irritates when the tab goes to sleep mode when cover is folded back. Is there a way where I can switch off this activation of sleep mode?

P.S. It is a magnetic cover

Remove the magnet.

Where did you buy the case? A number of the cases went through multiple revisions to get this feature right. The better companies/vendors sent out free replacements when they revised the design. Basically, if the magnet is in the wrong place or too strong (sounds like too strong), you're going to have to either change cases, remove the magnet, or shield it somehow. I would probably start by complaining to the vendor.

I had this same issue. I switched cases to one with a Bluetooth keyboard and the issue went away.
