Google Nexus 7 Tablet (2012) Getting out of safe mode

[gotta have it android]

Friend got her tablet stuck in safe mode and can't get it out. Saw a thread about getting out of it, steps i saaw didn't work unless i did it wrong

It's supposed to get out of Safe Mode once you restart. Is that not happening?

No it wasn't. It's not in it anymore. I just let it sit for awhile and it restarted and went back to normal. It was strange. Put my own in and out of safe mode with no problem

Welcome to Android Central! So what happens when you power the tablet down completely (by pressing and holding the power button down until you get the options, then select "Power Off), then power back on again? Does it still boot into Safe Mode?
