Google Nexus 7 Tablet (2013) No Google Now after forcing Kitkat Update

Hello guys, I wanted help with this...the thing is that I forced the update on my Nexus 7 (2013 model) by clearing the data on the Google Services Framework, It worked on the second try and I was happy because the roll out of the update was taking so long....when I finally installed the update everything was normal, except that Google Now was nowhere to be found :'( , and just a few minutes earlier (of course on Jelly Bean) it was working wonderfully, the toggle switch is nowhere to be found, no option gives me the ability to recover it and I wanted to know if anyone can help me with this issue.

Just as an aside, this is one of the reasons why you shouldn't attempt that trick to get the update.

Try removing your google account and re adding. make sure google search is also up to date.
