Mine said a third party is coming in to set up the display later this week. I'm assuming this one is getting a special Google display

Walked into best buy to get the new call of duty today. Walked out with the game and a new nexus 9 (completely unplanned).

My best buy had one 16 and 32 gb black. That is it.

I had preordered it thru Worstbuy.com but i saw that it was available instore. So i cxl my online order and just went in and bought mine during lunch.

I went to BB this morning, was the first customer to walk in, went straight to the tablet section asked for nexus 9... They had 2 in stock, one 16gb and one 32... No demo units on display. Word of advice, do not call BB customer service, they are clueless and can never confirm any stock correctly. According to them the BB I walked into this morning had 0 stock available.

Sorry for the caps, but best buy holiday return policy starts today.

Therefore you have until early January to return items, including the nexus 9.

My dilemma is I used to have an ipad 2 but I didn't like how big it was. I got the nexus 7 but it was a tad too small. The ipad mini is cool but I'd much rather be in the Google ecosystem. Do you feel like it's a decent size for just throwing in a bag and reading textbooks from?

Perfect size for it.

I prefer the Google ecosystem as well, so this may replace my ipad air.

It's big enough for me to read PDF and documents on without any visual strain. Yet it is easier to manage than my ipad air.

I find the tablet be very easy to use with one hand. Easier than the iPad air. The soft touch back provides a nice grip.

I'm glad i called ahead before going for a drive. No local BB had any on display I have been waiting a long time to get one in my hands and seeing it powered on before pulling the trigger.

I checked with the BB by my house over the weekend. I asked how many they would have on release day and was told they would have only one. So I asked them to check the inventory of the store by my job and was told they would have two.

I left the office this morning and walked to BB, got there about 10 mins before opening. Soon as they let me in I asked about it and was told they had 2 in stock (one 16gb and one 32gb). Using the gift cards I got from the Note 4 preorder/trade-in promotion and a little cash, I was able to walk out with the black 32gb. In and out in five minutes.

Got a black 16GB this morning. The employee had to look around to find it and kudos to him. Others would probably just given up so I kind of owe him one. It was in the back of the store stockroom, not with their tablets in cages.

Liking it so far. I am pleased to read holiday return extended period started today. I had 45 days being an elite member and the price may even go lower for BF so I'm covered if it does.

Yeah, they didn't have any on display here either, I think most stores are only going to have them in the back room right now.
