Hey guys! Had the DNA for a couple of months now...goes without saying I absolutely love it.
Like the subject says....using the Google Search widget on my home screen brings up Google Now, with the weather card, search, all of that, as you'd expect.
Long pressing the home button ALSO brings up Google Now, except it has no search history showing immediately, doesn't automatically bring up my keyboard for a search, and it has the Google Doodle embedded up top.
What is the difference between the two? When you long press the home button on the DNA, what specific app is that going to? It's obviously not the Google Search app, since that brings up the same layout as the Google Search widget.
I guess I'm curious because I like the home button version of the two better, as it's less intrusive and doesn't auto-focus on the search box and cause my keyboard to pop up automatically...by default I can't see the cards below. It would be nice to use that one exclusively if possible.
Thanks in advance!
