Pretty much as the title says it, I installed the launcher today and I can't help noticing that the icons especially on the home screen are not as sharp as on the stock launcher. Is there any fix for that?

Mine looks pretty good but I sorta think I see what the OP is referring to. The icons have nice smooth edges that seem to gradually transition to the background instead of a really hard line.

I'm not really sure if it's visible on the screenshot, but the edges are not as sharp (it is quite noticeable on curved icons such as Facebook Messenger). Consider the fact that the Nexus 4 has a PPI density of 318 which is quite high. The GN launcher has bigger icons so I suspect that the launcher blows out the original icons.

I think because the launcher was made with higher resolutions in mind it doesn't translate to the Nexus 4 as well. I noticed that it also cuts off the bottom of the widgets menu:

I have installed the OTA update of Lollipop and my home screen is almost the same as the 4.4 screen. Help at all??

The Google Now Launcher is not included with Lollipop for the Nexus 4 and has to be installed separately from the Play store.
