Google Now Search Problem

Hi, I am sorry if this has been asked before but if it has I can't find it. I am having a problem with Google search / Google now search. When I type something in it will often just look like it's finished, but with no results. If I click the images button and then go back to normal web it will show - but it's a pain to do this.


I know the first thing to do would be to reinstall Google search and see if it happens still, but I don't want Google now to forget all the info it knows (i.e. where I go etc...)
So I guess what I'm asking is 1. Is this a known bug and 2. Will removing and reinstalling Google search forget my Google now data?

It shouldn't forget any of that stuff. Try the uninstall and reinstall.

To take this a bit further, Now should retain all this info between devices. It's not stored locally on a phone or tablet.

Ditto, same thing for me. Sounds like a bug.

Uninstalled updates and the search went back to behaving as normal. Going to update again and see if the problem persists.

Reinstalled updated and search doesn't work...uninstalling until there is a fresh update.

Same on an S4. Reinstalling doesn't help.
