Google Now stopped talking

Is there a fix or what can I check in the settings?

Open google now, tap the 3 dots click settings, voice, and make sure it says always speak under speach output.

It will only show the results, but it won't talk back.
 
I'm going to ask, since you haven't said anything about this yet...have you tried rebooting the phone?
 
I noticed it taking a long time to load for me last night - I was in the basement of a club and GPS was having a hard time locking in after booting it up (had it off the whole way there until inside. It finally locked in and worked fine - maybe related?
 
It works. Looks like the volume was low.

i noticed this as well... if i ask simple questions like how far away is the moon, i c an get it to speak... but for most everything else it wont anymore??? it used to speak, practically everything i asked... it wont speak weather forecasts, sports scores, directions, ect anymore
 
Google tweaks the app all the time, probably nothing you can do about it.

...and neither of which are Google Voice, which is the app that was referenced.

Mmmmkay...you needed to dig up a month old post to say that? LOL. Pretty sure my point was that if you're looking for Google Now in the app drawer/play you're not going to find it. Guess I left it open for lots of interpretation :)
