I don't think it's specific to the S10 so sorry if folks think it's OT. I am wondering why Google Photos retains location information on photos and what people think about that?
I deliberately disabled geo-location info in my camera settings. I don't want that info associated with pictures of my kids or something that I might post to social media. Then I open google photos app, open a photo... and it's there. It looks like there is no way to disable it without turning off location services altogether. There is some language about that info not being visible if you share the image with a link but it's so easy to share images and video directly from the apps, not many people actually do that? I love the way Google photos backs up my info and integrates with my other Google services, but I find it a bit unsettling. Anyone else notice this or have thoughts on it?
