Quick question regarding the assistant in Google Photos.

How does Google Photos compile a 'Trip to ___' album? Does location need to be turned on or it doesnt matter?

When I went to China a year ago, I remember randomly seeing a Trip to China album (after the trip). But I'm not sure if I had location was on. I'm asking now because I'm in Dubai and would love to have another album of this trip.

I'm pretty sure your Location Services have to be turned on, although I'm not sure if Location History has to be on. I can tell you for sure that photos don't have to be geotagged in order for a Story to be automatically created, because I always have that off, and I still get Stories.

Dammit. So all the pics I took the past few days won't be made to an album? (Cause I kept location off)
