Google Photos syncing back problem from the cloud to My Moto X4!

Okk. So i bought this new Moto X4v(Indian Eeition) a few days back and set it up fully. I logged in everything and set up the Photos app. I even checked the setting to back up and sync photos on mobile data too!

But the problem is they are not syncing back from the cloud. I imported my earlier photos from Google Drive to Photos app, but they are only visible on the Google Photos Webpage (photos.google.com) and are not showing up on phone.
I shot some new photos and assigned faces to various people, created many albums based on the day they were taken. Now to self-resolve the syncing back problem I removed updates of Photos app and re-updated the app. Due to that, its not showing Albums, that i created, anymore.

But all that Drive stuff and Albums are actually showing up when i search for them in Photos app. Interestingly, drive photos open up when i tap on them but Albums won't even open up saying "Couldn't Load Search"!

And this "Getting your photos..." loading bar keeps going on and on for days now!

Please somebody help me resolve this issue!

Welcome to Android Central! How fast is your data connection? Syncing a huge number of photos can take a while, especially if you have a slow connection. If it is slow, then leave it alone for several hours, then come back to the app and see if everything has synced properly.

If the data connection is fast, then try going to Settings>Apps, select Photos, tap Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Then open Photos again and wait a few minutes for it to resync. Does everything show up properly now?
