Hey guys - I currently have my S6 auto backing up photos using Google photos. I was wondering if anybody knew a way so that I can delete a photo off my phone, but for it to stay on my Google photos account? Because right now when I delete a photo off my phone it instantly deletes it from my Google photos account as well which isn't what I want. Thanks in advance.

Yes, use gallery app to delete pictures from the phone. Do Not use the photos app.
