It is really weird how they do that, I ordered the same but a day later and mine is supposed to ship on November 1st.
My pending charge on my card disappeared this morning at some point, wonder if that means I'm getting closer to the front of the line??

Mine is still there and the phone has shipped - too many variables with the different cards etc.

Loving it so far, still loads to test out though. Will share some thoughts over the coming hours/days/weeks of my Pixel experience. I'm coming from a Galaxy S7.
Anyone else received a yellow box? I wonder what all the colour variations are

I already posted this on another thread, but since a bunch of you are already getting your phones, I'm hoping one of you will be able to answer my question...
Although I'm sure this can be chalked up to wishful thinking...
"Has anyone gone into the Developer Options and checked to see if the sRGB switch is turned on? Maybe if it's on by default, we can get those punchy vibrant colors we've grown to love on our OLED screens by just simply turning it off!

My Google Financing finally has a pending charge! At least something is happening.
I spent some more time on Live Chat with Google Play help, they were very little help. When push came to shove the CSR just posted the official Google terms into the chat window, the final paragraph of which states that any shipping or delivery times given by Google are estimates, not guarantees.
The bottom line is they gave an estimate of the arrival time, and that's all they care about. When it says it should arrive by between October 20th and October 24th, they won't really do much unless it misses that 10/24 deadline. They don't pay a lot of attention to the estimated shipping date at all.

As I suspected... Wishful thinking...
On my OG XL, my Nexus 6P, and maybe even other devices I can't remember, you could turn on sRGB to have the more "accurate" colors that we're seeing on the 2 XL.

Yeah I saw that setting when I was checking out the phone in the Verizon store. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to do much.

My black 64GB 2 XL is shipping a week early. Props to Verizon for making the October 25 ship BY date. I appreciate the under-promising!
