Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Pre Order / Shipping Discussion

I just got FedEx tracking number. Scheduled delivery date is 10/25. It was suppose to be delivered buy the 23rd, no later than the 24th. I will be asking for a refund of my 18.99 for expedited shipping.
 
I just did a chat with their Store support and she said even though my ship date was 10/22 and delivery date was 10/24 or 10/25, she said they are still expecting I'll have it by the 25th at the latest. Nothing is showing it's shipped so we'll see.
 
My 2 XL is supposed to ship today, too. The Google Daydream I had ordered at the same time was not supposed to ship until a couple weeks later. arrival on Nov 4, I think.

Google charged my credit card last night for the price of the full order (both items).

This morning I received an email stating that the Google Daydream has shipped.

Still haven't gotten notification about the phone shipping. Perhaps by end of Google's business day.
 
officially got email from google with tracking info coming from Illinois arrival the 26 awesome but now more waiting 😭

I noticed on my shipping screen the delivery changed from 24-25 to 23-25 and I got a little excited. Though the day is pretty close to over I can't expect it today. The FedEx tracking shows tomorrow. They usually ship from Carol Stream and I'm in Chicago so I thought I might get it early since some have. Nope.
 
So, I'm on the phone with Google right now. I was just curious and trying to see if they had any shipment information. First they tell me they can't find the order, then when I ask if they need the order number, they say they have it. Then they tell me the order was canceled on October 10, which I said I found weird because I was charged for the the phone today. I'm currently on hold waiting to see what happens.

Edit: Apparently they had to dig deeper. There was some sort of problem with the Synchrony authorization or something.

Ontrac says my black 2XL 64 is in ONTARIO, Ca....not far from me in Phoenix. Should have it tomorrow!
 
What annoys me the most is that I ordered 10/8 with an original ship date of 10/28. A few days later it changed to 10/25 ship date and hasn't budged since... no charges hitting the credit card, no e-mails regarding the order... I haven't even received the trade in kit that was sent 10/10 as per the e-mail I received from Google. I ordered the XL 2 128 GB unlocked version in black and Im seeing people who placed orders as far out as a week after me and theirs are being shipped today!

I reached out to Synchrony to make sure there were no issues with the credit approval and everything is in order. I chatted with Google support and was told the it was on par to ship 10/25. I reached out again today to ask why some are receiving their phones before me and the chat agent kept talking in circles saying that they were shipping phones according to when the orders were placed and would not give me a direct answer to my question... Its frustrating to try and make a point through a chat... ugh... Im so tempted to cancel this and just deal with my laggy S7 Edge, but now I have the credit hit with Synchrony and I don't plan on ever getting anything from Google again behind this poor excuse for a launch...

This me too. But I did notice the cancel option is gone so hopefully that means it preparing to ship....
