Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Pre Order / Shipping Discussion

Well mine is stuck in some warehouse investigation because goggle has it as shipped and fedex only received the notification of label created. Been in that state since the 26th. Last year ordered a Pixel within minutes of launch and order was cancelled on day of shipment for no reason google could give me. (Error on their end but I was welcome to reorder). Needless to say I am very unimpressed.
 
Thank you, Jesus! Phone delivered. FedEx Home Delivery. No knock but left outside front door. Multiple app notifications ringing like hell immediately. Lol.

Phone looks good to me. Don't see the big deal about the screen so far. Looks great. Very fast. Project Fi switched over effortlessly. I always set up from scratch so hold all my calls for a while. Lol.

Yep I usually go for the overnight or next day option if available. That's all they really care about since your paying a premium for the service. The other normal or economy options are the ones that get delayed or farmed out to other services.
 
Still waiting on my Panda that had an original ship date of Oct 23 from Google.

I see people receiving hte phone. It would be helpful if Panda people specified if theirs came from Google or VZW. I'm thinking it's the VZW customers that are seeing the device.

I'd like to see 64 or 128. I'm thinking Google direct 128 pandas haven't been plentiful yet.

I'm waiting on Google as well. Ship date was the 23rd for a 64gb penguin.
 
My Pixel 2 XL is scheduled to be delivered today. Tracking has to truck in the general area... Now I just need to keep myself busy so I don't go insane waiting. :confused:
 
My unlocked 64 GB Penguin was delivered today. Why did I have to be at work today? Can't wait until I get home to get to unbox it.
 
5 hours later and I'm still waiting for my Pixel 2 XL to be delivered. I bet the delivery drivers know when the packages are new tech that have guys at home waiting for them and hold them for the end of the day... :'(
 
My Verizon 64GB Panda shipped on Nov 1st and I received it on Friday. I've been too busy playing with it to post until now. I'm switching from a Galaxy S6. So far, the Pixel 2 XL's speed, fingerprint sensor and camera are fantastic. The screen colors look natural to me. Yes - it does have the blue tint when angled, but I look at the screen straight on 99% of the time. After using it for a week, I'll decide if this is a big enough issue for me to think about an RMA.
 
I have it now in hand. It's amazing. I now need to be careful until my case and screen protector arrive tomorrow.IMG_20171106_172335.jpgIMG_20171106_172732.jpg
 
Received mine today and it's going back. I just can't justify spending $900 on this phone. The speakers rattle and sound like crap compared to my Moto X Pure Edition. The screen looks okay on dark backgrounds. Such a shame because it's a beautiful phone.
