When you guys ordered your Panda did your card get charged immediately with a pending charge? It's weird because I ordered very early on (before the event was over) and my card was never charged but just got a pending charge now.

I had initially added expedited shipping to my order - after checkout, it didn't show that it charged me for expedited shipping - shipping shows $0.00 with a shipping date of Oct 23rd, and a delivery date of Oct. 24-25. Hmmm....

I did not order the Panda one but yep I got the pending charge (even though the Pixel doesn't ship until mid-November). I figure that it will fall off sometime today if not tomorrow.

Still trying to decide if I really want to go all in on Google this cycle or if I'm sticking with Apple...in the mean time ordered from Verizon Black/White 128 gb with a 11/1 delivery date which seems standard. Here's hoping that's a placeholder date and they will get here earlier!

Also I ordered that day one but Verizon still has the same delivery dates today as two days ago, guessing Verizon got most of the units allocated?

Going with Google gives you some flexibility I think cuz you can still use pretty much all their services/apps on Apple devices.

Ordered mine last night from Verizon black/white 128g says 11/01 for delivery. Seems like so long lol. But at least that's day of my birthday so my gift to myself !

after debating it after the announcement, finally ordered a Just black XL 128gb. coming from iPhone my last Android was a Nexus 6P. delivery dates October 27–October 31, hoping it’s sooner though.

I caved and changed my pixel 2 order from white to black since the black one ships in just two weeks compared to 5-6 for the white.

I did the same thing but kept the order for the White just in case... Once the black ships I'll cancel the White. Hoping to get lucky and they send the White one first.

Same here. Lifelong Android, went to iPhone 7+ from a Nexus 6p... now Back to the Pixel 2 XL.

Dumb-sh-- -t over here orders his Black XL with delivery Oct 17. Screwed up and hit the VZW button. Doesn't matter, cause I'm on VZW, but it's bothered me. I also used Google Finance.

That's 2 strikes: The phone's bootloader is locked (won't matter--I don't root). More important, I was going to buy insurance but the erudite threads regarding extended warranties that come at no cost with credit card purchases convinced me that I could save the $129 for the Care Plan.

With that, I cancelled the original order, bought UNlocked today on my CC, and the good news is that delivery is only 10 days later.......Saved me 15% of the cost of the phone. Well worth the couple days wait. Especially since I love my Pixel XL so much I hadn't planned on upgrading in the first place.
