Contacted Google and Synchrony bank has approved and provided a ref ID # which they gave me. Said my phone is scheduled to go out Monday. VZW 3 miles down the street has the same one in stock.....It is so hard not to just go buy it from VZW. I know waiting will be worth it....Right?

I think mine is supposed to ship Monday.. this wait is terrible. I had an Oct 17th shipping date but it failed and I made a purchase like 3 minutes later and it bumped it to the 24th-25th.

Depends. Do you want the free mini or not? I am keeping my order w/ Google for 3 reasons.

1 - Google Home Mini for free
2 - Panda color!
3 - No $30 Activation / "Upgrade" fee from Verizon

Def. not a bad idea . I got lucky w/ the Panda. During the keynote one of the guys on the forum team said "Orders are live" in our chat .. I went and slammed buy so fast lol.

Getting a little discouraged. Pixel 2 is supposed to be delivered today between 9:35am and 3:35pm. It's now 6:05pm and I have no phone. Now my tracking says 10/20 by end of day. END OF DAY....? Does that mean they have until midnight to get it here....? My wife and I were headed up to the lake house for the weekend and now I'm stuck here waiting on a phone to deliver. I just don't want it to sit out on the porch for all to see. Oh, who am I kidding - I want to take it with me for the weekend so I can get it all set up! WHERE ARE YOU FEDEX!!??

It's not even that bad haha... Verizon says it'll ship on 11/1. I'm just already back and forth between the white and black. Plus I'm going to Halloween Horror nights on Sunday and I'd like to have that new camera.

Ah yeah .. Personally I would have snagged one from a local Verizon store if my wait was super long... Since mine is only 1 week from release day I can be patient.

I first pre ordered panda, shipping date is nov 27 and impatient as well so I cancelled it. Ordered the regular white pixel, shipping date oct 25-27 so I was like ok ok not bad I can wait that. Checked it today and shipping date change to nov 27- dec 2... Are you F*** kidding me?!! Cancelled it ofc.. Now ill order the black one and shipping date is this monday oct 23.

Well, scratch that. I just got a notice from FedEx that my package is now in Kentucky and will deliver by end of day Monday. That sucks! If Google would have shipped it on the 17th, like I was told when I placed the order, I'd have it today. Oh well, 1 more weekend with the original Pixel. It's a great phone too.
