Just got a ship notice on my black XL 64. It shipped 2 days later than originally stated but I don't think that's too bad.

Pixel 2XL 64GB Unlocked
Ordered on 10/06

Was supposed to ship on 10/25. Just last night cancel button is gone but still no shipping email with tracking number. Hopefully that comes soon.

Yay! I ordered a P2 XL 64 unlocked on the 13th with a shipping date of 10/29 and the cancel/change address buttons disappeared this morning. I originally ordered a P2 on 10/5 so I've been waiting quite a while for something to happen.

UPDATE! I just checked my account again and one of the two phones I ordered now has tracking information. Apparently, my phone was shipped FedEx ground. FedEx has no information yet when I track the number.

I ordered a second, identical phone on 10/14 for my wife and that one no longer has a cancel button but no shipping info yet.. Both are black BTW.

The bottom line here is I'm a seriously sick person and I'll probably be checking the Google store all day and clicking the tracking button constantly for updates.

I hate when FedEx says end of day and they mean end of day.....tomorrow my Pixel 2 XL 64gb is finally supposed to arrive. I do not have any meetings at work until 2:00 tomorrow....the day is going to be the longest.
I know that is the worst.

I've been looking for news on the Pixel 2 XL Panda. Reasons for the shortage of it, when they'll be available etc. I've not been able to find anything? Had anyone seen or heard any news on that?

Phone has now shipped. Got tracking information and is to be delivered 10/31. This is a day later than the original estimated delivery window. No big deal and my dealings with google have been great so far. Information that there was a shipping delay was present when I went to contact CS via chat and the chat agent also informed me that they are working to hit the original delivery date of 10/30 but that could stretch a day to 10/31. All in all a day late isn't a big deal and looking forward to getting my phone.

On hold with Google for half an hour now trying to get some sort of answer as to where the phone is
CS rep claims that the phone is with the "courier" but they do not have any real time tracking information. Asked which courier service they used, and they responded that she does not know. Asked how they can know that it shipped if they don't know who they shipped it with and she couldn't answer.

Gave me a $25 credit to Google play and added a "bug" to my account to prioritize it.

Right.

After reading through this thread, decided not to wait for Google store to catch up - SO - went to Verizon and ordered a Kinda Blue 64 GB Pixel 2 - scheduled to be here tomorrow with overnight shipping - wanted the Kinda Blue originally - am not going to lose 1 second of sleep over activation/overnight shipping charges - traded in Pixel XL - NOW - I wait until noon tomorrow and see what happens - ;) - meanwhile - I shall pray to the Verizon Pixel Gods.

You should be fine. I ordered one at 5 PM EST and got it next day by 9 AM. Verizon seems to be pushing them out without an issue :).

Thanks - you set the example that I chose to follow - that's why you are the MTL -

Posting - where fun should always be included.

i had to talk wit h2 people in the shipping department plus 3 online chats over the course of 3 days to get my phone shipped yesterday. initially i was told my phone was "stalled" but htey didnt know why and would open an investigation that would take 3-5 business days. I said i could put a new order in and get it in 3-5 days. I asked if they were backordered or on hold, she said no. I said so why cant they pull one and ship it now, why investigate, she said thats not the procedure. I said thats an very inefficient process. She said htats the best she oculd do.

I called back got transferred to another shipping lady and while that was going on the phone shipped 2 day no weekend. I told her to meet their initial delivery date they should ship overnight, she agreed said she would try to change it. that didnt happen so i get it monday after it was shipped 2 day on thursday

was ordered 10/5, supposed to ship 10/24

they said their order volume far exceeded expectations and understood i was very excited. I heard that from every online chat, must be a canned response

If I was not so insistent on the black/white, I could have had this damn phone by now...Alas, the heart wants what the heart wants. I ground out yet another convo with the Google CSR today and same result, we don't know anything at all and here's another $25 Play credit for you to go away. Anyhow, I'm leaving the country on Monday, so hopefully when I get back it will be waiting for me. I was really wanting that camera to use while on vacation too...oh well! #googlebrokemyheart #firstworldproblems #whinewhinewhine

I've been incredibly unimpressed with Google's customer service department on this... Any other time I've dealt with them they've been amazing. This time they seem incompetent and disorganized.

3 hours after order was placed I got a text with shipping notification - phone should be here by noon tomorrow.

Maybe others should at least look at the Verizon option. Any Verizon installed apps can be uninstalled and life can go on in Pixelville.

I am not getting any 25 dollar Play store credits, but I am getting a phone - just sayin'

Yep. I suggest using Verizon if people got it. If they have another carrier they are stuck w/ only Google.

That Verizon activation fee is a turn off. Not sure how easy it is to get it credited these days. Previously I was unable to and said to myself , that’s it no more.
