Google Pixel 2 Getting knocked off bluetooth when calendar reminder fires

When I am on a bluetooth phone call and a calendar reminder fires it causes me to get knocked off bluetooth. Any thoughts on how to correct? At 8.1.0

Can you see if it also happens in Safe Mode? https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/2852139?hl=en. If it does, I'd send feedback to Google from within the system settings.
