Google Pixel 4a - Zedge Notification Sound Problems

I have used Zedge for ringtones and notification sounds on my Pixel 4a since late 2020 with no issues.

Lately , I was attempting to switch a couple around. I'd go to the app info and then the notification sound I wanted to change. It would like always send me to Zedge to select the sound. In the past it would change that very notification (like a friend request on Facebook or a News app sound) to that very audio bit.

Just in the last day, the app applies that sound as a "default" for the phone (miscellaneous apps I don't really care what sound they produce).
