I got the Black Pixel 32mb on order. Says it will be shipping Oct. 21 to 24th. Is that an accurate data or does google usually beat the shipping dates and send them out early?

My experience over the last several years has been that is a worst case scenario and it will probably be in your hot little hands before then.

So here's what I've noticed. I ordered a 32 gb black Pixel the first evening that they were available. A pending hold was placed on my card immediately at the time of the preorder and released within 24 hours back into my account. At some point on October 6th, the status changed to from "Preorder" to "Pending" and a new charge appeared on my card. I'm convinced that these are shipping out much sooner than initially thought.

I tried to use the Promo code for the VR, but it said to wait until my device has delivered and been activates.

Is everyone able to confirm their VR from Verizon prior to delivery?

i preordered on the 4th and just received the email yesterday about it. it may take a couple of days for you to receive the email.

" Within approximately four weeks of your phone shipping, you will receive a promo code via email which you can use to redeem your Dydream View n GoogleStore, as long as you dont cancel or return your Pixel phone."

I caved. Cancelled the Google order, returned a 6S I had with Verizon, ( they gave me an exception to the 14 day return policy, had it 17 days ) and ordered a 128GB Black Pixel. Delivery 20 Oct. I'm weak.

Dang! So much for all the 'this phone will never sell' type comments..

I just looked and nothing but black 32GB is available.. Guess it's either a pretty darn good launch for Google or they had very little stock..
