Out of curiosity, anyone have any idea where shipping will be from? Based on previous 5X ans 6P or any other goggle products?

I just preordered mine as well. Went thru Verizon since I'm on their network and they have the 128GB XL version available in black. I also did myself a favor and ordered a screen protector and case. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will be a great phone. I will still miss my Note 7 though. I only have about 1 week left with it before it's time to part ways.

When I pre-ordered a Surface device or a Samsung Device, it was always from China. The Samsung Phones always sat in a FedEx warehouse until the "official" ship date.

My Nexus 6 from the year before that I preordered directly from Moto shipped to me straight from China.

But Google themselves don't seem to do that in my experience.

This is about the time we all start getting a little anxious and excited. About a week to go for most of us. The hardest part is I'm coming from the Note 7 and any replacement option I have just doesn't live up to it. Using a Moto G4 which honestly a good mid-range phone for someone who doesn't want a contract but the camera does lack. I am a Verizon customer and so would use this demo/review Lumia 950xl for this last week if I could if only for the camera. Oddly, the Motorola G4, advertised on Amazon as being 100% Verizon compatible, only pulls 3G.

You: So they won't ship a few days before the release date like you said? the 20th is the release date...
Chris: They usually ship a few days before so that you have it or have it by release date

Yup, this is consistent with all Verizon releases that I have been a part of, including my Note 7 pre-order. Fully expect the Pixel to be moving in our direction by Tuesday, if not sooner.

I ordered my Note 7 with one-day shipping and received it a day before the release date, as did most if not all of the 1-day shipping folks.

So for your pre-order with Verizon, did you get to choose your shipping option? I only ask because I went into the store and they did it for me. They did not ask about different shipping options. This was my main reason for contacting them in the first place.

My experience with Vzw is that they always use 2-day shipping for devices.

I ordered my Pixel XL 128gb Very Silver on 10-8-2016. I am being told in the e mail I received that it will ship on 10-20-2016. I am still hopeful this will be true. I have read somewhere online that the Pixel is built by HTC, does anyone know if this is true?

It is true. Google had HTC build the phones for them.

I just got an email from the wait list that the silver 5.5 128 was available and i was able to order it!

Delivery Date: Nov 23, 2016 – Nov 25, 2016

been trying to get that done since the 5th.

glad that's out of the way now just hope it comes in sooner.

I can confirm XL silver 128 is indeed in stock. I was on the wait list for Black but went ahead and got the silver with expedited shipping for 11/18 ish.
