So the full list of problems is:
1)After some time my Pixel really slows down when unlocking.
If I use the finger print scanner the phone vibrates upon recognising my finger, but the screen does not turn on. If I tap on the screen with my finger it even makes the sounds like its registering me trying to open apps(makes the tapping sound). After around 5-10 seconds the screen does turn on, but it has something like a dark "filter" over it which makes it look like some "transparent" app is open, because the bottom bar changes the darker version for when its in apps and the phone does not respond to any finger inputs. If you press the home button it does react, but has no effect. After 2-4 seconds the "filter" disappears and the phone starts responding.
2)The sound and microphone stopped working.
I think this was the first thing that started going wrong. I was in a whatsapp call when the person stopped hearing me. I could not record voice messages and after some time sound on the phone itself stopped working. At first a reboot would fix this for some time, but then it would happen again.
3)The phone randomly starts rebooting when I am using it or when its locked.
Sometimes the reboot is quick especially when locked and I only find out because I cannot unlock the phone with my finger and it tells me a code has to be entered due to reset. But other times the phone reboots and it does the initial animation with the dots and later gets stuck with the G logo and a loading bar under it. The longest I left this was for around 30 min after I did the soft reset and it would load normally.
All of this started around the same day I updated to Oreo which coincided with me dropping the phone(the phone was in a rubberised case and fell from around neck height). Oreo was updated via the google beta program, but I registered a few days after the release of Oreo/eclipse.
I first thought that this might have occurred due to some issues with the new OS, but today there was some OTA update and nothing has changed. I have factory reset my phone several times.
I am making this thread as a last resort as I bought the phone in the UK, but do not live in a country which sells the Pixel phone, thus there is nowhere I can take for diagnostics.
