Google Pixel SCRATCHED EASILY!

I'd say the glass scratches a bit more easily than it should... My previous phone had an earlier iteration of gorilla glass and I carried it the same way for 3 years. Not a single mark on the display. The pixel has marks on the back glass and a couple around the earpiece up front after only 5 weeks.

Ok, this morning I took it to my carphone warehouse store and showed them the phone, they said they couldnt see any scratches, the google pixel is a great phone so Im just going to enjoy it now My question is though has anyone found that the antenna bar at the bottom of the phone has scratches on out of the box ? Thanks!

I heard about how easy it was to get scratches on this phone, especially the back glass.. which is why mine is currently residing in an Otterbox Defender case... not only will it keep the scratches away but protects my phone from any accidental drops... I am one who doesn't go crazy over showing off the looks of my phone, I'd rather have one that does everything I want (which the XL does in spades) and stays protected while I own it so a case, for me, is in my best interest...

I have seen more scratches on this device than any in recent memory, and I have a bit of a phone addiction so have seen plenty of them over the years (this past year, including the Xperia Z5, LG G5, Samsung GS7, GS7 edge, Note 7, OnePlus 3 and likely one or two I have forgotten about). I do wonder if the oleophobic coating isn't the culprit on the glass scratches, however. The scratches I have seen are very faint, but unfortunately very noticeable as well. The positive I have seen with this phone is that the glass does not seem to attract fingerprints as badly as many other devices I have used, and cleans quite a bit easier, all of which leads me to think maybe it's the coating that is scratching. Either way, it is a bit frustrating to have a two month old device looking more beat up than any other phone I have owned.

I've had a case on mine 95% of the time and screen protector after couple of weeks of getting the phone and don't have any scratches yet and hope to keep it that way. I wipe my Pixel every few day while cleaning what ever case I'm currently using.

I made a thread about some marks I noticed on the chamfer of the google pixel, not sure if they are normal or not would love if you guys would check it out for me, thanks.
