For those who ordered off Google store, how long did it take to ship? Been about 36 hours for me... Still no ship.

Has a label been created? I ordered yesterday and the label is created but it hasn't moved yet.

But I am a bit nervous, had selected my work address for delivery and they apparently shipped it Fedex Home Delivery...

I ordered on 5:45 PM Monday this week and the label was created at 11:00 Am on Tuesday and then shipped from Illinois... I am in NY it should get to me tomorrow.

On a side note, wondering of anyone has suggestion for insurance. Was going to get Google, but forgot to add it at checkout. They said I'd have to cancel the order if I wanted it.

Squaretrade is probably just as good as the Google protection. Verizon's monthly protection plan with Asurion will not cover an unlocked non-Verizon phone.

Well I'm going to wait it out till the 12/26 and see what happens....I called a best buy near me and they have the 32 xl black in stock but I want the 128gb....

Remember, a Pixel from Verizon will have Verizon bloatware, will not receive updates as quickly, and the bootloader is locked by Verizon so you will not be able to root the phone. But buying from Verizon, you probably don't want to and are willing to wait for the phone.

This isn't entirely true. The 'bloatware' consists of three apps that are installed after activation (not included in the base phone) and are fully and completely uninstallable. Verizon Pixels receive the same update at the same time as the Google variant, this has already been proven with the updates that have been released since launch. The bootloader is indeed locked, but is right now unlockable by unofficial means.
