Did anyone elses card get charged already. Mine did preordered through googles website. I was under the impression that nothing got charged until item was shipped.

You'll see a temporary authorization. It will go away after a few days. Then you will get an email when your order is ready to process and the card will be charged that amount.

Ordered 32GB Black XL + Project Fi Sim - normal shipping says Oct 26-28th.

Went with the 32GB. After the announcement of unlimited photos and freaking 4K vids, didn't see the need for 128GB. I have a small music collection.

Looking forward to ditching this iPhone and getting back to Android.

UGH! Synchrony Bank declined me.. oh well. I'll have to wait for Best Buy to get them in stock and use Affirm to pay for it. Way better payment rates than %29.99. I'll probably have to put $200+ down, but well worth it.

Hang in there, it'll be worth the wait. This is not an inexpensive phone; don't settle for a carrier locked version.

Yeah I did. I did the 32 GB, though. The 128 seems to be more popular. I think the ship date 26-28 for standard for me, too.

I thought I would wait till the reviews come out, but hell just ordered a black 32 XL. These things are pricey. Mine from the Google store was $826 out the door. 60 bucks in CA tax don't help.

I've had an odd experience ordering with the financing option. I was approved and placed my order, but never received any confirmation email, nor does the order show up on my order history in the Google store. I also checked my balance with Synchrony (the company that does the financing) and, although there is no charge listed (not even pending), it shows that my remaining balance just happens to be the difference between what I was approved for and what I charged for the phone.

I called Google store support and they said there's no record of the order. I called Synchrony and was told that the purchase was approved but to wait 48-72 hours for it to show up on my Google account. Does this sound normal? There should at least be a record of the transaction with Google, shouldn't there? I don't want to just wait around for 72 hours while they all sell out.

This wouldn't normally be a big deal for me, but I'm out of the US right now and just so happen to have a relative coming to visit at the end of the month who can bring the phone to me, so I want to make sure it's delivered on time; otherwise it will sit in the States unused until I get back.
